After waiting 10-15 for anyone to greet us and check us in at the reception we were satifsied with our stay. We would go back as the surrounding area is beautiful and worthy of a bit of walking. We did not eat in the hotel at night only breakfast which was served by a very attentive waiter who did the Hotel proud.
The reception staff. When I called to make the booking direct with the Hotle it took 5 minutes for the person to establish I wanted to make a booking and I was not already booked in! Then when we arrived there was no one to greet us and we had to wait 10-15 minutes there with no one around. The waiter spotted us and had to go and get someone!

We enjoyed our stay at the Huntly the staff where really friendly and very helpful, it was lovely and warm and it had a wonderful real fire.
The only thing i would say about the Huntly is that our room was tired and the shower was very small, my partner is very tall so she found it to be very closterphobic, other than that it was great.

Friendly staff and excellent location.
Rooms were comfortable but sparcely furnished and lacking a smart finish. The breakfast bar was uninspiring and a little disappointing for the price. We enjoyed our stay but we feel the overall decor and feel of the place was not good enough for the price!

Breakfast was good, some of rooms were tired but comfortable all the same. If it is a no frills room for the night, this is ideal.

Meals in the hotel were exceptional. The room we booked was neat and airy with out of date yoghurt etc. The venue was set in the central position near to Scotland.
